李燕 二级教授，博士研究生导师，享受国务院政府津贴，云岭学者、名医，云南省有突出贡献优秀专业技术人才；云南省中青年学术和技术带头人、云南省医学领军人才。

中华医学会眼科学分会眼底病学组委员，中国医师协会眼科医师分会全国委员、眼底病专委会委员；云南省医师协会眼科学分会副主任委员；云南女医师协会眼科分会主任委员。中国微循环学会理事、中国女医师协会眼科分会常委，中国老年医学学会眼科分会常委等。

主持国自然基金4项及省部级基金共18项，获得云南省自然科学一等奖及省科技进步一等奖各1项（排名第一）。培养博士及硕士研究生80余人。

She is a member of the Fundus Disease Group of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a national member of the Ophthalmologist Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the Fundus Disease Special Committee. Vice Chairman of Ophthalmology Branch of Yunnan Medical Doctor Association; Chairman of the Ophthalmology Branch of Yunnan Women Physicians Association.She is a member of the Standing Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Women Physicians Association, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society.

She presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 18 provincial and ministerial funds, and won the first prize of Yunnan Provincial Natural Science Award and 1 first prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked first). More than 80 doctoral and master's students have been trained.
