陈洁，医学博士，教授，现任温州医科大学眼视光学院（生物医学工程学院）、附属眼视光医院党委副书记、院长，中国妇幼保健协会眼科学与眼保健分会副主任委员，中华医学会眼科学分会第十二届委员会神经眼科学组委员，中国研究型医院学会神经眼科专委会常务委员，中国老年医学学会眼科分会第二届委员会常务委员，中医眼健康四川省重点实验室副主任，教育部第二届全国综合防控儿童青少年近视宣讲团秘书长，浙江省儿童青少年近视防控专家宣讲团副团长。

致力于小儿眼科、斜弱视与低视力康复，组建了低视力和视觉康复示范中心，首次报告了儿童先天性白内障术后两天内视觉触觉的发育过程。承担多项国家级、省部级课题，如国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目、省自然基金项目、省科技厅项目、省教育厅项目等。荣获第九届全国道德模范提名奖、中宣部致敬医者评选“国之名医.优秀风范”、中宣部第九批全国岗位学雷锋标兵、全国师德标兵、全国三八红旗手。

Jie Chen, MD, Professor, is currently the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of Ophthalmology & Optometry (School of Biomedical Engineering) and the Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University (WMU), Vice Director of the Ophthalmology and Eye Care Branch of the China Association of Maternal and Child Health Care, Member of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Group under the 12th Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, Standing Committee Member of the 2nd Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Eye Health, Secretary General of the Second National Publicity Group for Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Myopia in Children and Adolescents of the Ministry of Education, and Deputy Head of the Propaganda Group of Experts on the Prevention and Control of Children and Adolescents in Zhejiang Province.

Specializing in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and amblyopia and low vision rehabilitation, she demonstrated the development of visual-tactile integration in children within two days after congenital cataract surgery. She also led the establishment of a low vision and visual rehabilitation center of Wenzhou Medical University.

She has undertaken a number of national, provincial and ministerial projects, such as the National Key Research and Development Program,  the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Provincial Natural Fund, the Provincial Science and Technology Department, and the Provincial Department of Education, etc. She was awarded the honors of the 9^th National Moral Model Nomination Award,"National Famous Doctor · Excellent Model" of the Central Propaganda Department's "Tribute to Medical Workers", the 9^th batch of national post-study Lei Feng standard soldiers of the Central Propaganda Department, National Teacher Virtue Pioneer, National 38 Red Flag Woman.
