葛坚，医学博士 、二级教授 、一级主任医师 、博士研究生导师。荣获国之大医.特别致敬、首届中山大学名医，第二届羊城名医、国家973项目首席科学家。原中山大学中山眼科中心主任暨眼科医院院长、眼病防治全国重点实验室终身名誉主任、中华医学会眼科学分会名誉主任委员、原广东省医师协会眼科学分会主任委员、中国非公立医疗机构协会眼科专业委员会名誉主任委员、粤港澳大湾区医师联盟眼科医师联盟首届主任。现任《眼科学报》主编，《中华眼科杂志》副总编。荣获亚太眼科学会“亚太最具影响力眼科医生100强”、美国斯坦福大学“2024和2025年度全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单（终身影响力）”、“全国医院优秀院长”、“广东省优秀院长”、“中华眼科杰出成就奖”、“中国医师奖”、亚太眼科学会“杰出服务奖”、中美眼科学会“金钥匙奖”、世界青光眼协会“高级研究科学家奖”和“突出贡献奖”,澳大利亚政府“杰出创新奖”，亚太眼科学会“最高学术奖”等荣誉。被《中华眼科杂志》评为2000-2015年间中国眼科界高学术影响力专家之一。已培养博士生69名，已出站博士后8名，其中20人次获得国家自然科学基金，1人获得全国百篇优秀博士论文奖。单独或与他人合作发表论文400篇，其中SCI收录论文200余篇。主编人民卫生出版社《眼科手术学》第三版、《临床青光眼》第二版、卫生部统编八年制《眼科学》教材。荣获国家科技进步二等奖、广东省科技进步一等奖、国家教育部优秀教材二等奖、国家教育部教学成果二等奖等十余项。

Prof. Jian Ge has achieved significantly in many fields, such as diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, phacoemulsification and endoscopic laser treating refractory glaucoma, stem cells research, and myopia prevention.
Under his leadership, the team had received funds from National “973” Key Basic Research Project, in which Prof. Jian Ge served as Chief Scientist, and national “863” Project, and many other national fund projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Medical Key Subjects (launched by ministry of health), key projects of science and technology research (launched by ministry of education). As a productive author, Prof. Jian Ge has published more than 387 articles as first author or co-author, among them, over 238 publications have been recorded by SCI. During his tenure, Prof. Jian Ge had been evaluated as one of the most excellent hospital directors at provincial and national level. He gained “Asia-Pacific 100 Most Influential Ophthalmologist”, “Stanford University &Elsevier: World‘s Top 2% Scientists 2024”, “Outstanding Contribution Award", and "De Ocampo Award" from Asia-Pacific Association of Ophthalmology (APAO), "Outstanding Achievement Award" from national ophthalmology institution, "Golden key Award" from Chinese and American Academy of Ophthalmology, "Senior Research Scientist award" and "Recognition Award" from World Glaucoma Association, and "Excellence in Innovation" from Australia government.
Prof. Jian Ge was also evaluated as one of the specialists with High academic influence in Chinese ophthalmic field from 2000 to 2015 by the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology.
