Has presided over 20 national, provincial and ministerial-level research projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China as Chief Scientist, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, regional joint key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, general programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, with 6 national-level grants and 14 provincial and ministerial-level grants. Published 101 SCI papers, including 64 as corresponding author or first author and 18 with an impact factor above 10, in leading medical journals such as Nature Genetics, Molecular Cell, Nature Communications, PNAS, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, BMJ, Molecular Neurodegeneration, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Progress in Retinal and Eye Research, and Advanced Science. Led or participated in the development of 2 international guidelines, 15 national guidelines, and 9 expert consensuses, and served as chief editor or contributor to 10 academic monographs. Related achievements have received the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the WuZhou Women Science and Technology Award. As a major contributor, received multiple honors including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Chinese Medical Association Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education.
