美国哲学博士、教授、博士生导师,美国眼科医学会(AAO)、美国眼科研究学会(ARVO)会员。从事眼科研究和临床工作十多年,对常见眼病的诊治积累了丰富的经验,尤其擅长儿童屈光不正的诊治。长期致力于青少年近视的发病机理研究及临床矫治研究,从药物干预,基因检测,动物模型,细胞及因子检测等多个方面展开研究,团队共发表SCI论文100多篇,作为负责人获得国家重点项目、国自然面试项目、广东省科技重大项目和广东省自然科学基金重点项目等10余项基金资助,团队研究成果多次在国际和国内重大会议上发表与交流。经过多年的深耕与努力,已建立起两支体系完整的近视相关基础研究团队和临床干预团队。
PhD, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). With over a decade of experience in ophthalmic research and clinical practice, he has accumulated extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating common eye diseases, particularly pediatric refractive errors. He has long been dedicated to investigating the pathogenesis and clinical management of juvenile myopia through multifaceted approaches including pharmacological interventions, genetic testing, animal models, and cellular/factor analyses. His research team has published more than 100 SCI-indexed papers and secured over 10 major research grants as the principal investigator, including National Key R&D Programs, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grants, Guangdong Provincial Major Science and Technology Projects, and Key Projects of Guangdong Natural Science Foundation. The team's research findings have been presented at numerous prestigious international and domestic conferences. Through years of dedicated efforts, he has established two comprehensive research teams focusing on fundamental myopia research and clinical intervention, respectively.
