Dr Mohamed Elalfy is an internationally renowned ophthalmic surgeon and President Elect of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He serves as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, UK. He holds degrees of MBBCh, MSc and MD, and is a fellow of multiple prestigious professional bodies including FRCS, FICO, FEBO, FRCOphth and FWCRS. Dr Elalfy has extensive expertise in corneal, refractive and complex anterior segment surgery, with significant clinical and academic contributions in corneal transplantation, refractive surgery, cataract management and ocular surface disease. He is actively involved in international ophthalmic education, training and academic collaboration, serving on several professional committees and frequently delivering invited lectures at major global ophthalmology meetings.
