谢玮玲教授毕业于悉尼大学，并在悉尼眼科医院完成了她的眼科培训。2000年她回到新加坡，在新加坡国立眼科中心(SNEC)担任眼科注册医师，随后在伦敦大奥蒙德街儿童医院进行了小儿眼科专科培训。她目前是SNEC小儿眼科与成人斜视部门的负责人，也是SNEC近视中心的联合临床主任，以及KK妇女和儿童医院眼科的高级顾问。

谢玮玲教授的研究方向包括斜视、弱视、早产儿视网膜病变、近视的医疗和非医疗控制。她是新加坡眼科研究所(SERI)的高级临床研究员，并联合领导近视研究单位。

谢玮玲教授还为SNEC-SERI视觉电生理诊断实验室提供服务，并且是国际视觉电生理学会(ISCEV)的成员。她在这里的兴趣包括近视和弱视的功能变化、视网膜营养不良和药物相关毒性。她是杜克新加坡国立大学医学院眼科与视觉科学学术临床项目(Eye ACP)的教员和专业发展副主席，致力于在新加坡国立眼科中心和新加坡眼科研究所培养教育年轻眼科医生、眼科住院医师和科学家。

Associate Professor Audrey Chia graduated from the University of Sydney and  completed her ophthalmology training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. She returned to Singapore in 2000 and worked as an Ophthalmology Registrar at  Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) before doing a Paediatric Ophthalmology fellowship at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London. She is currently Head of the Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Department and Co-Clinical Director of the Myopia Centre at SNEC and a Senior Consultant at the Eye Centre, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Associate Professor Chia’s research interests include strabismus, amblyopia, retinopathy of prematurity, medical and non-medical control of myopia. She is a Senior Clinical Investigator and co-heads the Myopia research unit at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI).

Associate Professor Chia also helps provide service at SNEC-SERI Visual ElectroDiagnostic Laboratory and is a member of the International Society of Electrophysiology Vision (ISCEV). Her interests here include functional changes in myopia and amblyopia, retinal dystrophy and drug-related toxicities. She is Vice-Chair, Faculty and Professional Development, Eye ACP, SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, and  enjoys her role in the development, training and education of young ophthalmologist, ophthalmology residents and scientists at the Singapore National Eye Centre and Singapore Eye Research Institute.
