刘伟，医学博士，博士后，现任华中科技大学附属协和医院眼科主任医师、副教授、硕士生导师。先后赴美国威斯康星大学Mcpherson眼科研究所担任访问学者、于美国德州大学医学部眼科研究所完成博士后研究。个人荣获协和名师、湖北五一劳动奖章、华中科技大学十佳青年教工等荣誉；兼任教育部高校眼视光医学专业分教指委委员、教育部普通高等学校本科教育教学评估专家、国际泪膜与眼表协会中国分会（TFOS China）委员、中国民族卫生协会眼科分会青年委员等多项学术职务，并担任湖北省劳动能力鉴定专家。教学方面，他深耕教学改革，先后斩获全国高校教师教学创新大赛二等奖、全国高校青年教师教学竞赛二等奖、湖北省高校教师教学创新大赛特等奖等多项国家级、省级教学大奖，主持国家级高质量医学教师教学发展眼科在线课程。科研方面，主持国家自然科学基金2项，以第一作者或通讯作者在《Advanced Science》《Aggregate》等国际知名期刊发表学术论文20余篇。

Liu Wei, M.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, currently serves as a Chief Physician, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in the Department of Ophthalmology, Union Hospital Affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was a visiting scholar at the Mcpherson Eye Research Institute, University of Wisconsin, USA, and completed his postdoctoral research at the Institute of Ophthalmology, University of Texas Medical Branch, USA. He has been awarded the honors of Distinguished Teacher of Union Hospital, Hubei May 1st Labor Medal, and Top Ten Young Faculty Members of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He holds multiple academic positions, including Member of the Sub-teaching Guidance Committee for Optometric Medicine Majors in Institutions of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education, Evaluation Expert for Undergraduate Education and Teaching of Ordinary Institutions of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education, Member of TFOS China, Youth Committee Member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese National Health Association, and Labor Capacity Evaluation Expert of Hubei Province. In terms of teaching, he is committed to teaching reform and has won numerous national and provincial teaching awards, including the Second Prize in the National University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition, the Second Prize in the National University Young Teacher Teaching Competition, and the Special Prize in the Hubei University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition. He has also presided over a national high-quality online course for ophthalmology teacher training. In terms of scientific research, he has presided over 2 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 20 academic papers in internationally renowned journals such asAdvanced Science, Aggregate, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Ageing Research Reviews, and Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science.
