承担国家科技重点专项、国家自然基金等十余项课题。发表论文200余篇，于世界顶级医学杂志《柳叶刀》发文1篇，获得湖北省科技进步一等奖、中国眼科创新奖、中国最美眼科医生、中国眼科年度人物及两次中国眼科年度十大进展等

He has undertaken more than ten research projects, including National Key Science and Technology Programs and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 200 papers, including one article in The Lancet, one of the world’s leading medical journals. He has received several honors and awards, including the First Prize of the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the China Ophthalmology Innovation Award, China’s Most Beautiful Ophthalmologist Award, China Ophthalmologist of the Year, and two recognitions among the Top Ten Annual Advances in Chinese Ophthalmology.
