Aslanides教授在全球共计发表文章、参编出版书籍章节、演讲合计达500余次。他已完成超过15000例的屈光和其他眼外科手术，在激光及白内障手术特别是激光角膜表层切削手术（ASLA）及角膜胶原交联术（CXL）领域有着丰富而独到的临床经验。他的研究方向是：角膜屈光手术，交联，眼科成像，石墨烯纳米技术在眼科中的应用，角膜表面消融后的疼痛改善。他是R.A.D.A.R. 的专利所有人（快速评估阅读中的阅读障碍和异常），一种简单快速客观完全无创且经济有效的阅读困难筛查方法，特别关注基于眼球运动的阅读障碍。他同时是英国皇家眼科医师学会的成员、激光技术行业和眼科成像系统的科学顾问和希腊航空局眼科特别顾问和希腊奥委会的科学委员会成员。

Dr. Ioannis M. Aslanides is the founder and medical director of Emmetropia Mediterranean Eye Institute, and the founder and director of Optotech Lab: Eye Tracking Services. He is also Visiting Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill-Cornell Medical College, New York, USA, Visiting Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wenzhou Medical University, China and President of the Greek College of Ophthalmology.Dr. Aslanides has active participation in over 500 publications, abstracts, presentations, or book chapters at international level. He has performed over 15000 refractive and other eye surgical cases, specializes in refractive and cataract surgery with special interest in all surface laser ablation (ASLA) and corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL). His research interests are: corneal refractive surgery, crosslinking, eye imaging, graphene nanotechnology applications in ophthalmology, pain modification in surface ablation. He is the patent owner of R.A.D.A.R. (Rapid Assessment for Dyslexia and Abnormalities in Reading) an easy, fast, objective, completely non-invasive and cost-effective screening method for reading difficulties, with special focus on dyslexia, based on eye movements.He is Fellow of The Royal college of Ophthalmologists, a scientific consultant in laser technology industry and in imaging systems in Ophthalmology, and the special advisor of the Greek Aviation Authority in Ophthalmology and Member of the Scientific Committee of the Greek Olympic Committee.
