高前应,医学博士,曾任眼科学国家重点实验室副主任,现担任国家医疗器械分类技术委员会眼科器械专业组委员、中国生物材料学会眼科生物材料及器械分会候任主任委员、广州市南沙区政协委员。获得教育部新世纪优秀人才、广东省千百十人才和羊城好医生等称号,培养硕士和博士研究生二十多名。主要从事玻璃体视网膜疾病基础、转化医学和临床研究。主持科技部863项目、科技支撑计划、国家自然科学基金等一系列基金。以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI论文40多篇,获得中国、美国、俄罗斯等国专利22项。
发明了折叠人工玻璃体球囊(FCVB),用于治疗复杂性视网膜脱离,获得欧洲CE认证、澳大利亚TGA证书和中国医疗器械注册证,被评为2012年世界视网膜脱离手术四大进展之一、2013年中国眼外伤十大进展之一、2015年中华医学会眼科分会眼科十大成就之一,入选国家科技部2018年创新医疗器械目录。国家药监局在《与时代同行,谱写药品监管新篇章——回顾改革开放40年药品监管工作》中评价FCVB为“中国制造”向“中国创造”转型升级的代表范例。2019年荣获广州市创新领军人才称号,2020年获南沙区高端领军人才优秀人才A证,2021年获广东新粤商优秀经济风云人物,2023年荣获天津市科学技术进步奖。

Dr. Qianying Gao, Ph.D., formerly served as Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology, and currently serves as a member of the Ophthalmic Device Professional Group of the National Medical Device Classification Technical Committee, Chair-Elect of the Ophthalmic Biomaterials and Devices Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, and a member of the Nansha District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Guangzhou. He has been recognized as a recipient of the Ministry of Education’s New Century Excellent Talents award, the Guangdong Province Hundreds and Thousands Talents Program, and the Good Doctor of Yangcheng. He has supervised over twenty master’s and doctoral students. His research focuses on basic research, translational medicine, and clinical studies of vitreoretinal diseases. He has served as principal investigator for multiple national grants, including the National 863 Program, the National Science and Technology Support Program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 40 SCI papers as first or corresponding author and holds 22 patents in China, the United States, Russia, and other countries.
He invented the Foldable Capsular Vitreous Body (FCVB) for the treatment of complex retinal detachment. The device has received CE certification in Europe, TGA certification in Australia, and medical device registration in China. It has been recognized as one of the four major advances in retinal detachment surgery worldwide in 2012, one of the top ten advances in ocular trauma in China
