涂云海博士现任温州医科大学副教授、博士生导师，并担任温州医科大学附属眼视光医院主任医师。他先后于温州医科大学获医学学士与硕士学位，并于山东大学取得博士学位，在眼眶病与眼整形领域深耕临床与学术研究二十余年。涂博士的科研与临床实践专注于眼科内镜微创手术，重点致力于阐明甲状腺相关眼病（TAO）及甲状腺相关性视神经病变（DON）的发病机制，并深入探究泪道疾病的生理病理机制。他成功开创并改良了经结膜与经鼻内镜眼眶减压术及改良经鼻眶尖减压术等微创技术，显著提升了手术精准度，有效降低了围手术期创伤，并极大优化了复杂眼眶病患者的术后视觉功能恢复。作为高产的学术贡献者，涂博士在《美国眼科杂志》《Eye & Vision》《Graefe临床与实验眼科学档案》等高影响力国际期刊上发表了大量论文。其近期研究融合随机对照试验、视网膜微血管成像、眼灌注压分析及功能神经影像，旨在早期识别疾病标志物并建立循证个体化诊疗方案。作为博导，他积极培养眼科青年人才，大力推动基础研究与外科创新的转化。凭借在眼眶微创领域的精湛技术与以患者为中心的诊疗理念，涂博士是国内外眼科学术界备受尊敬的权威专家与特邀讲者。

Dr. Yunhai Tu is an Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor at Wenzhou Medical University, and Senior Consultant at its affiliated Eye Hospital. He earned his medical and master’s degrees from Wenzhou Medical University and completed his PhD at Shandong University, accumulating over two decades of specialized clinical and academic experience in orbital and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Tu’s research and clinical practice are fundamentally dedicated to minimally invasive ophthalmic endoscopic surgery, with a concentrated focus on elucidating the pathogenesis of Thyroid-Associated Ophthalmopathy (TAO) and dysthyroid optic neuropathy (DON), alongside investigating the physiological mechanisms of lacrimal drainage disorders. He has successfully pioneered and refined novel endoscopic transconjunctival and transnasal orbital decompression techniques, including modified transnasal apex decompression, which have substantially improved surgical accuracy, minimized perioperative trauma, and optimized postoperative visual recovery for complex orbital patients. A prolific academic contributor, Dr. Tu has published extensively in high-impact international journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Eye & Vision, and Graefe’s Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology. His recent investigations seamlessly integrate randomized controlled trials, advanced retinal microvascular imaging, ocular perfusion pressure analysis, and functional neuroimaging to identify early disease biomarkers and establish evidence-based, individualized therapeutic protocols. His multidisciplinary approach consistently integrates advanced orbital imaging with functional assessments to refine surgical indications and postoperative management strategies. As a doctoral supervisor, he actively mentors emerging ophthalmic specialists and champions translational research that bridges laboratory discoveries with surgical innovation.
