Prof. Zhong serves as a member of the Glaucoma Subspecialty Group and the Blindness Prevention Subspecialty Group of the Ophthalmological Society of the Chinese Medical Association. He is also a Standing Committee Member of the Ophthalmologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice Chair of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Yunnan Medical Association; Chair of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the Yunnan Hospital Association; Chair of the Optometry and Vision Science Professional Committee of the Yunnan Expert Association; Standing Committee Member of the Visual Health Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care; and Standing Committee Member of the Evidence-Based Medicine Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care.
He also serves as an editorial board member and/or reviewer for several leading domestic and international journals, including Ophthalmology, Nature Communications, Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science, and British Journal of Ophthalmology.
