廖良，男，博士、主任医师，博士生导师，首都国医名师韦企平教授传承人，国家中医局重点学科中医眼科学后备学科带头人。曾在维也纳医科大学AKH总医院做博士后研究，并在北大人民医院进修显微手术。入选东方医院中青年专家人才项目。兼任中国中医药信息学会眼科分会副会长，中华中医药学会眼科分会委员、北京中医药学会眼科分会委员。担任国家自然科学基金和北京市自然科学基金评议人。主持国家自然科学基金2项、首都医学发展基金1项、揭榜挂帅重点项目1项，以第一作者或通讯发表核心期刊30篇、SCI论文3篇。获省部级一等奖、三等奖各1项。
从事眼科临床工作20年，擅长白内障、眼底血管病、青光眼视神经病、近视、黄斑病的中西医结合诊治。尤其专长白内障超声乳化手术和玻璃体视网膜手术，以及韦氏三联九针治疗各类视神经病、眼血管病。对中医保护视神经、黄斑和防控各类近视有深入研究并主持多项国家级课题。

   Liao Liang, Male, Doctor of Medicine, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor. He is an inheritor of Professor Wei Qiping, a renowned national master of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the capital region, and a reserve academic leader of the key discipline of TCM Ophthalmology designated by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He completed postdoctoral research at the AKH General Hospital of the Medical University of Vienna, and received further training in microsurgery at Peking University People's Hospital. He was selected for the Young and Middle-aged Expert Talent Program of Dongfang Hospital. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Ophthalmology Branch of China Information Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Member of the Ophthalmology Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine, and Member of the Ophthalmology Branch of Beijing Association of Chinese Medicine. He is also a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. He has presided over 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project supported by the Capital Medical Development Fund, and 1 key "Tackling Key Problems through Open Competition Mechanism" project. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published 30 papers in core academic journals and 3 SCI-indexed papers. He has been awarded one first-class prize and one third-class prize of provincial and ministerial level.
    With 20 years of clinical practice in ophthalmology, he specializes in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment of cataract, fundus vascular diseases, glaucomatous optic neuropathy, myopia and macular diseases. He has particular expertise in phacoemulsification cataract surgery and vitreoretinal surgery, as well as Wei's "Triple Method and Nine Acupoints" therapy for various optic neuropathies and ocular vascular diseases. He has conducted in-depth research on TCM-based protection of the optic nerve and macula, as well as prevention and control of various types of myopia, and has presided over multiple national-level research projects on related topics.
