医学博士、主任医师、博士研究生导师。上海交通大学医学院附属第九人民医院眼科视光中心主任。中华眼科学分会视光学组委员、中国医师协会眼科分会视光学组委员、上海眼科学分会视光和屈光手术学组副组长、中华眼视光和视觉科学杂志编委、中国老年医学会眼科学分会常委、中国医药教育协会医疗器械管理专委会常委、中国医促会眼视觉健康分会分会常委、中国眼科医师协会摄影书画分会委员，全国优秀眼科医生。曾作为访问学者赴美国约翰霍普金斯大学、美国康奈尔大学和德国海德堡大学学习交流。
专业工作重点为近视眼发病机制和防控研究、角膜和晶体屈光手术。开展SMILE、TPRK和FS-LASIK等角膜屈光手术；老视透明晶状体置换、有晶体眼人工晶体植入（ICL/TICL）、后巩膜加固、白内障超声乳化等手术。到2025年底，在国内外专业期刊发表学术论文100余篇,第一和通讯作者81篇，其中SCI论文59篇；参编人民卫生出版社《中华眼科全书》及《眼屈光手术学》等专业教材7部，主译专著4部；获得授权发明专利3项；曾获省级卫生新技术引进成果一等奖、厅局级科技成果二等奖各1次；获国家自然科学基金等多项科研基金资助。

He was a visiting scholar for academic exchanges at Johns Hopkins University, Cornell University in the United States and Heidelberg University in Germany.
His major research directions cover the pathogenesis, prevention and control of myopia, as well as corneal and lenticular refractive surgery. He is skilled in performing corneal refractive surgeries including SMILE, TPRK and FS-LASIK, presbyopic clear lens exchange, phakic intraocular lens implantation (ICL/TICL), posterior scleral reinforcement surgery and phacoemulsification cataract surgery.
By the end of 2025, he has published more than 100 academic papers in domestic and foreign professional journals, among which 81 are first-author or corresponding-author papers and 59 are SCI papers. He has participated in compiling 7 professional textbooks such as Chinese Encyclopedia of Ophthalmology and Ocular Refractive Surgery issued by People’s Medical Publishing House, and translated 4 monographs. He owns 3 authorized invention patents. He has been awarded the First Prize of Provincial Health New Technology Introduction Achievement and the Second Prize of Prefecture-level Scientific and Technological Achievement. He has also obtained a number of research funds including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
