保金华，医学博士，教授，博导。中国老年医学学会眼科分会委员、全国光学和光子学标准化技术委员会医用光学和仪器分技委委员、中国医疗保健国际交流促进会视觉健康医学分会委员、浙江省预防医学会近视眼预防与控制专业委员会副主任委员、COVD资深会员（FCOVD-A）。致力于近视与视觉功能研究。主持国家国际科技合作专项、国家重点研发计划课题等国家及省部级课题。曾获中华医学科技奖一等奖、浙江省科学技术一等奖等多项荣誉。在JAMA Ophthalmology、Am J Ophthalmol、Br J Ophthalmol、中华眼视光学与视觉科学杂志等国内外学术期刊发表近视相关研究论文80余篇。以主编、编委在人民卫生出版社和高等教育出版社出版眼视光专著7部。授权发明专利6项。

Dr. Bao Jinhua is a Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, and Head of the Laboratory of Myopia & Visual Performance at the Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. She serves as:  member, Ophthalmology Branch, Chinese Geriatrics Society

member, Medical Optics and Instruments Subcommittee, National Technical Committee on Optics and Photonics Standardization;

Member, Visual Health Branch, China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care (CPAM);

Vice Chairman, Myopia Prevention and Control Committee, Zhejiang Preventive Medicine Association.

She is also a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD-A).
Dr. Bao is dedicated to research on myopia and visual function. She has led several national and provincial-level research projects, including those funded by the National International Science and Technology Cooperation Program and the National Key Research and Development Program. Her contributions have earned her numerous honors, including the First Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award and the First Prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers on myopia in prestigious journals such as JAMA Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology, and the Chinese Journal of Optometry Ophthalmology and Visual Science. Additionally, she has authored or served as editor-in-chief/editorial board member for 7 optometry textbooks and monographs published by People's Medical Publishing House and Higher Education Press, and holds 6 authorized patents.
