Dr. He currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Eye Disease Prevention and Treatment Center(SEDPTC) / Discipline Leader for Childhood Myopia Prevention and Control, and Principal Investigator (PI) for Childhood Myopia at the National Clinical Research Center for Eye Diseases（NCED).

She is an Expert on Comprehensive Myopia Prevention and Control for the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Education, a Board Member of the International Myopia Institute(IMI), a Member of the WHO SPECS 2030 Global Refractive Error Action Working Group, a Member of the ARVO Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC), a Standing Committee Member of the Child and Adolescent Health Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and Head of its Myopia Prevention and Control Group, an Editorial Board Member of Ophthalmic Epidemiology, and an Associate Editor-in-Chief of Chinese School Doctor, among other roles.

She has led more than 10 research projects, including those from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader Program. He has published over 100 papers as first or last author, been granted 5 invention patents, and led or participated in the development of 4 national health industry standards and local standards.
