Professor Changmin Duan has taught at the State University of New York College of Optometry for many years and was awarded the title of Honorary Professor. He is the founder and director of Dr. Changmin Duan Eye Care Center in the Greater New York area, holding a Master of Science in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry (OD). He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (FIAOMC) and certified by the International Academy of Myopia Management (IAMM).

Currently serving as Chair of the Education Committee of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (IAOMC), Asia Division Coordinator of IAOMC, member of the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists (CLAO) in the USA, and China Representative on the International Committee of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).

Dr. Duan specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, children's visual development, myopia control, and diagnosis/treatment of binocular vision disorders. With years of dedication to teaching, research and clinical practice in orthokeratology and myopia control, he has delivered numerous presentations in both Chinese and English at domestic and international academic conferences, receiving Outstanding Presentation Awards, and has published extensively in academic journals.

Professor Changmin Duan, among China's first clinical refractive ophthalmology postgraduates from Zhejiang University, has spent decades advancing China's optometry field through international collaboration and professional exchanges.
