Liu Zhengran, Second-Class Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. He is a talent selected for Inner Mongolia "Talent Revitalizing Inner Mongolia" Program, Distinguished Teacher of Inner Mongolia Institutions of Higher Education, and Advanced Individual in the fight against COVID-19 in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He serves as Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Baotou Medical College.

He concurrently holds posts including Standing Committee Member of Public Health Physician Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Standing Committee Member of Health Promotion and Education Branch, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Vice President of Inner Mongolia Preventive Medicine Association, Think Tank Expert of Inner Mongolia CPPCC, and Director of One Health Research Center of Baotou Medical College. He is also an editorial board member of General Practice Clinical and Education and Chinese Journal of Public Health Management.

His main research focuses on disease epidemiology and health policies. He has presided over 24 research projects including National Natural Science Foundation projects, sub-projects of major regional science and technology programs, Inner Mongolia Natural Science Foundation projects and central government guided fund projects, and published dozens of high-level papers in influential domestic and international journals.

As the person in charge of the provincial first-class undergraduate course and postgraduate ideological and political demonstration course Social Medicine and its teaching team, he has won 1 First Prize and 3 Second Prizes of Inner Mongolia Excellent Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, as well as 1 Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Progress Award.
