林浩添,2025 年中国科学院院士有效候选人,中国生物医学工程学会会士,现任中山大学中山眼科中心主任、医院院长,世界卫生组织视觉健康合作中心主任,眼病防治全国重点实验室主任,国家眼科质控中心(筹)主任中山大学中山眼科中心。他同时担任二级教授、一级主任医师、研究员,眼科学和生物医学工程双学科博士生导师,国家高层次人才、国家卫健委突出贡献中青年专家,中国青年五四奖章获得者,国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家(优秀结项)中山大学中山眼科中心。

在社会兼职方面,林浩添教授任全国青联常委(医药卫生界别副主委),中国青年科技工作者协会副会长(医药卫生界别主委),全国医疗器械可靠性与维修性标准化技术归口单位副组长,中华医学会眼科学分会常务委员,广东省医学会副会长兼医学人工智能分会首届主任委员,广东省青年科学家学会会长。

林浩添教授创立了眼科人工智能诊疗和临床应用体系,在三个关键领域取得突破性成果:1)解决数据治理与安全保护关键问题,为智能诊疗技术创新奠定基础;2)基于眼部动静态特征的算法创新,驱动眼与全身疾病智能筛诊技术突破;3)构建眼病新型智能 "三级诊疗" 模式,实现眼病诊疗多场景应用中山大学。他主持国家自然科学基金重大研究计划重点支持项目、重大疾病智慧诊疗项目等多项国家级课题中山大学中山眼科中心。

学术成果方面,林浩添教授在 NatureNature MedicineScienceLancetBMJNature Biomedical EngineeringLancet Digital Health 等国际顶级期刊发表论文 200 余篇,成果写入国际指南 2 部,主编专著 10 部,牵头制订应用标准和规范 10 余项,获国内外专利 60 项,软件著作权 12 项,已转化 5 项并落地应用中山大学中山眼科中心。其成果被 Nature Medicine 评为 "2016 年生命医学的八大突破性进展之一",被 IEEE Spectrum 评选为 "影响全球医学界的 11 AI 事件",获亚太眼科学术最高奖 De Ocampo 奖、广东省科技进步一等奖、吴文俊人工智能科技进步一等奖、首届钟南山青年科技创新奖等多项荣誉中山大学。技术成果已在我国各级代表性医疗机构及 "一带一路" 沿线国家及地区广泛应用,惠及千万居民和患者,引领眼病防治能力关键智能化技术的革新与发展,提升眼病防治水平。

英文简介

Hao-Tian Lin, an eligible candidate for Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2025) and Fellow of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, currently serves as Director of Zhongshan Eye Center and President of the Affiliated Eye Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University; Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Visual Health; Director of the National Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology Prevention and Treatment; and Director of the National Ophthalmology Quality Control Center (Preparatory Office). He holds the academic titles of Grade 2 Professor, Grade 1 Chief Physician, and Researcher, and serves as a doctoral supervisor in both ophthalmology and biomedical engineering. He is recognized as a National High-Level Talent, an Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with Prominent Contributions by the National Health Commission, a recipient of the China Youth May Fourth Medal, and a Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program (with excellent project conclusion).

In terms of social positions, Professor Lin is Standing Committee Member of the All-China Youth Federation (Deputy Chairman of the Medical and Health Sector), Vice President of the China Association of Young Scientists and Technologists (Chairman of the Medical and Health Sector), Deputy Leader of the National Technical Committee for Medical Device Reliability and Maintainability Standardization, Standing Committee Member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Vice President of the Guangdong Medical Association and Founding Chairman of its Medical Artificial Intelligence Branch, and President of the Guangdong Young Scientists Association.

Professor Lin has established a comprehensive system for artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted diagnosis, treatment, and clinical application in ophthalmology, achieving breakthroughs in three key areas: 1) addressing critical issues in data governance and security protection, laying a solid foundation for innovation in intelligent diagnosis and treatment technologies; 2) driving technological breakthroughs in intelligent screening and diagnosis of ocular and systemic diseases through algorithm innovations based on dynamic and static ocular features; and 3) constructing a novel intelligent "three-level diagnosis and treatment" model for eye diseases, enabling multi-scenario applications in ophthalmic care. He has presided over numerous national-level research projects, including key projects supported by the Major Research Plan of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and smart diagnosis and treatment projects for major diseases.

Academically, Professor Lin has published over 200 papers in top international journals such as Nature, Nature Medicine, Science, Lancet, BMJ, Nature Biomedical Engineering, and Lancet Digital Health. His research findings have been incorporated into 2 international guidelines, and he has edited 10 monographs, led the formulation of more than 10 application standards and specifications, obtained 60 domestic and international patents, and 12 software copyrights, with 5 achievements successfully transformed and applied in clinical practice. His work was recognized by Nature Medicine as one of the "Eight Breakthroughs in Life Medicine in 2016" and by IEEE Spectrum as one of the "11 AI Events Impacting Global Medicine". He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the De Ocampo Award (the highest academic award in Asia-Pacific ophthalmology), the First-Class Award of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress, the First-Class Award of Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Progress, and the First Zhong Nanshan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award中山大学. His technological achievements have been widely applied in representative medical institutions at all levels across China and in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road", benefiting tens of millions of residents and patients, leading the innovation and development of key intelligent technologies for eye disease prevention and treatment, and improving the overall level of ophthalmic care.
