Hui Zhang, M.D., Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, and Chief Physician of Ophthalmology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she has profound expertise in corneal and ocular surface diseases as well as cataract surgery. She currently holds multiple important academic positions both nationally and internationally, including National Committee Member of the Corneal Disease Group (Ophthalmology Branch, Chinese Medical Association), National Committee Member of the Corneal Disease Specialty (Ophthalmology Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association), and Committee Member of the Asian Dry Eye Society (ADES). He has been honored with titles such as “Renowned Physician” of Yunnan Province’s Xingdian Talent Program, Academic and Technical Leader of Yunnan Province, and Academic Leader of Highlevel Health Talents of Yunnan Province. As Principal Investigator, he has led four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and six provincial/ministerial research grants. She has contributed to the development and publication of over 60 clinical guidelines, expert consensus statements, and group standards in ophthalmology.
