博士生导师，长江学者，青年岐黄学者，湖南省“芙蓉学者·青年学者”，全国中医药创新骨干人才，湖南省卫生健康高层次人才医学学科带头人，湖南“225”工程学科骨干人才，湖南省十四五中医药重点学科“中医眼科学”学科带头人，国家区域中医诊疗中心建设单位（眼科）副主任。任中华中医药学会眼科分会青年副主任委员、中国人口文化促进会眼科专业委员会副会长、世界中医药学会联合会眼科专业委员会常务理事兼副秘书长，主持国家自然科学基金、湖南省自然科学基金在内的各级课题17项，以第一作者或通讯作者身份发表学术论文40余篇，参与编写“十二五”至“十四五”国家规划教材及专著15本，获得湖南省科学技术进步奖、湖南省青年科技奖、湖南省自然科学奖、中华中医药学会科学技术奖等省部级科研奖励22项，获得国家级教学成果奖、湖南省高等教育教学成果奖等教学奖励5项。主要从事干眼、青光眼、视网膜静脉阻塞等眼部疾病的研究。

Served as Deputy Director of the Youth Committee of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice President of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the China Population Culture Promotion Association, and Executive Director and Deputy Secretary-General of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Presided over 17 research projects at various levels, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Hunan Natural Science Foundation. Published over 40 academic papers as first author or corresponding author, participated in compiling 15 national planning textbooks and monographs from the 12th Five-Year Plan to the 14th Five-Year Plan, and received 22 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research awards, including the Hunan Science and Technology Progress Award, Hunan Youth Science and Technology Award, Hunan Natural Science Award, and Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Award. Also received 5 teaching awards, including the National Teaching Achievement Award and Hunan Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award. Mainly engaged in research on ocular diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, and retinal vein occlusion.
