研究员，二级教授，博士生导师，成都中医药大学眼科学院院长。系国医大师廖品正学术传承人、四川省岐黄学者、四川省学术与技术带头人、四川省卫生健康领军人才、四川省卫生计生突出贡献中青年专家、四川省中医药学术技术带头人。
兼任中华中医药学会眼科分会副主任委员、中国人口文化促进会眼科专业委员会副会长、世界中医药学会联合会眼科专业委员会常务理事等职，任四川省中医药学会常务理事、眼科专业委员会主任委员。
主持各级科研课题20余项，其中国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金等国家级课题8项，主研课题30余项。获四川省科技进步特等奖、二等奖，教育部科技进步二等奖，成都市科技进步特等奖，四川省普通本科高校教师教学创新大赛三等奖。主编人民卫生出版社“十五五”《中医眼科学》思政案例库，副主编中国中医药出版社“十五五”《中医眼科学》等教材2部，参编规划教材6部；参编《中华医学百科全书》等著作6部；主编《漫话中医养眼护眼》，主校《眼科要旨》；发表论文100余篇，SCI收录20余篇，获专利6项。

Second-grade Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Dean of the School of Ophthalmology, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Academic inheritor of National TCM Master Liao Pinzheng, and recipient of such honorary titles as Sichuan Provincial Huangqi Scholar, Provincial Academic and Technical Leader, Provincial Health Leading Talent, and Provincial Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert in Health and TCM.
He holds concurrent posts as Vice Chairman of Ophthalmology Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine, Vice President of Ophthalmology Committee of China Population Culture Promotion Association, Standing Director of Ophthalmology Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and Chairman of Ophthalmology Professional Committee of Sichuan Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
He has presided over over 20 research projects including 8 national ones (National Key R&D Program, NSFC etc.), and participated in more than 30 key projects. He has been awarded multiple provincial and ministerial science and technology progress prizes as well as teaching innovation competition awards.
He has edited and co-edited multiple national planned textbooks and monographs, compiled Encyclopedia of Chinese Medical Sciences and other works, and revised ancient ophthalmic classics. He has published over 100 papers among which more than 20 are SCI-indexed, and owns 6 patents.
