主要从事循证医学、药物流行病学等方向研究
主持国家自然科学基金4项，省部级基金4项，部委委托课题20余项，承担四大慢病专项子课题1项、重点研发计划项目子任务1项。以第一/通讯作者发表英文SCI论著90余篇；主编书籍5部，副主编8部，参编10部。现任真实世界研究校企联合实验室主任。2024年获聘“天池英才”特聘教授。2023至2025年连续入选全球前2%的顶尖科学家
曾获亚太药物流行病学协会“学术之星”称号等。参与项目曾获华夏科技进步奖二等奖、北京市科技进步奖三等奖、中华预防医学会科学技术奖三等奖等奖项
目前任中国医师协会循证医学专委会副主任委员、中国医师协会循证医学专委会AI4Evidence系统整合方法学组组长、国际考科蓝中国协作网之北京大学循证医学中心主任、中国药学会药物流行病学专委会副主委、世中联临床疗效评价专委会副会长、中国人体健康科技促进会肿瘤化疗专委会副主委、中国毒理学会循证毒理专委会副主委、国家药监局评价中心学术委员会委员、北京市卫健委临床研究质促中心北医公卫分中心主任、国家药品监督管理局监管科学创新研究基地(国家药监局药品评价中心)副主任等

- Main research directions include evidence-based medicine and pharmacoepidemiology.

- Has presided over 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 4 provincial and ministerial-level foundation projects, and more than 20 commissioned projects by central ministries and commissions. Undertaken 1 sub-project of the four major chronic disease special program and 1 subtask of key research and development programs. Has published over 90 English SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. Compiled 5 books as chief editor, 8 as associate editor and participated in compiling 10 books. Currently serves as Director of the University-Enterprise Joint Laboratory for Real-World Research. Appointed Distinguished Professor of Tianchi Talents in 2024. Listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists consecutively from 2023 to 2025.

- Awarded the Academic Star title by the Asia-Pacific Pharmacoepidemiology Association. Participated projects have won the Second Prize of Huaxia Science and Technology Progress Award, the Third Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Third Prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.

- Holds multiple academic positions including Deputy Chairman of the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Leader of the AI4Evidence System Integration Methodology Group under the same committee, Director of Peking University Evidence-Based Medicine Center of Cochrane China Network, Vice Chairman of Pharmacoepidemiology Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Vice President of Clinical Efficacy Evaluation Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Vice Chairman of Cancer Chemotherapy Committee of China Association for Promoting Human Health Science and Technology, Vice Chairman of Evidence-Based Toxicology Committee of Chinese Society of Toxicology, Member of the Academic Committee of Center for Drug Evaluation of NMPA, Director of Peking University School of Public Health Branch of Beijing Clinical Research Quality Promotion Center, and Deputy Director of NMPA Regulatory Science Innovation Research Base (Center for Drug Evaluation of NMPA).
