袁源智担任复旦大学附属中山医院副主任，复旦大学附属中山医院（厦门）执行主任，复旦大学循证医学中心秘书，硕士生导师。长期致力于眼底病和视觉科学的临床与基础研究，以及循证医学和临床流行病学研究，在眼底病规范化诊疗和循证实践方面积累了丰富经验。已在国内外学术期刊发表 SCI 论文数十篇，主编或参编著作十余部，拥有多项专利并实现转化。

主要学术社会任职包括：中华医学会临床流行病学分会和循证医学分会委员，中国医师协会循证医学专委会循证眼与视觉科学学组副组长，上海市医学会临床流行病学与循证医学分会副主任委员，上海市医学会视光学分会副主任委员，厦门市医师协会循证医学专委会副会长，厦门市医学会眼科学分会常务委员等。同时是《BMC Ophthalmology》及《Clinical Trials·临床试验》编委，以及欧洲视网膜专家学会会员。

Dr. YUAN, Yuanzhi is Associate Director of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, Executive Director of Zhongshan Hospital (Xiamen), Fudan University, Secretary of Fudan Evidence-based Medicine Center, and Master's Supervisor. He has long been dedicated to clinical and basic research on retinal diseases and visual science, as well as evidence-based medicine and clinical epidemiology, with extensive experience in standardized diagnosis and evidence-based practice of retinal disorders. He has published dozens of SCI papers, edited or co-edited more than ten books, and holds multiple patents that have been successfully translated into practice.
His major academic appointments include: Committee Member of the Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-based Medicine Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Deputy Leader of the Evidence-based Ophthalmology and Visual Science Group, Evidence-based Medicine Committee, Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice Chairman of the Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-based Medicine Branch, Shanghai Medical Association; Vice Chairman of the Optometry Branch, Shanghai Medical Association; Vice President of the Evidence-based Medicine Committee, Xiamen Medical Doctor Association; and Standing Committee Member of the Ophthalmology Branch, Xiamen Medical Association. He is also a member of the European Society of Retina Specialists, and serves on the Editorial Boards of BMC Ophthalmology and the Chinese edition of Clinical Trials.
