Dr. Xiaoyan Yan is a leading expert in biomedical statistics and clinical trials with over a decade of experience bridging academic research and industry practice. She currently holds key academic positions including Secretary-General and Standing Committee Member of the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee at the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Committee Member of the Biostatistics Expert Committee at the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), and Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Biomedical Statistics and Data Management Research Association.

Her research portfolio includes leading three major national key projects funded by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, and serving as a core member in over 10 additional national-level initiatives. Her contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Award for Science and Technology Progress. She has co-authored multiple national medical planning textbooks, including SAS Statistical Software Application and Medical Statistics, and served as editor-in-chief of Research Design and Statistical Analysis of Biosimilars, a key reference in the field.

Dr. Yan provides dedicated research support to clinicians, enabling the publication of high-impact papers in journals such as The Lancet Oncology.
