徐国彤教授，中国医学科学院北京协和医院临床医学/美国北德克萨斯大学药理学双博士学位，同济大学特聘教授，新生院济人学堂执行院长，济视同光医药科技（宁波）有限公司董事长/首席科学家。长期从事致盲性老年眼病的创新疗法研发，曾三次担任国家973重大科学研究计划/重大国际合作项目首席科学家，获“卫生部有突出贡献中青年专家”、“宝钢优秀教师奖”、“教育部科技进步奖”、“上海科学技术奖”、等荣誉。2023年创立济视同光，主要管线包括iPSC衍生的RPE细胞治疗视网膜变性和EPO衍生药物治疗糖尿病眼病等。

Professor Guo-Tong Xu holds dual doctoral degrees in Clinical Medicine from Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, and in Pharmacology from the University of North Texas, USA. He is a Distinguished Professor at Tongji University, Executive Dean of the Jiren Academy, School of New Student Education, and serves as President and Chief Scientist of TongEye MedPharm Technology Co., Ltd. Prof. Xu has long been engaged in the development of innovative therapies for blinding age-related eye diseases. He has served 3 times as the Chief Scientist of major national research programs, including the 973 Program and major international cooperation projects. His honors include “National Outstanding Contribution Expert in Health”, “Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award”, etc. In 2023, he founded TongEye, whose core pipelines include iPSC-derived RPE cell therapy for retinal degeneration and EPO-derived drug therapy for diabetic eye disease.
