眼科博士，中山大学中山眼科中心眼科博士后，教授，硕士研究生导师，美国俄克拉荷马大学访问学者，现任湖北科技学院党委常委、院长，先后兼任咸宁市医学会眼科分会主任委员，湖北省医学会眼科分会委员，湖北省医师协会眼科分会常务委员、中国高等教育学会委员、中国高等教育学会医学教育专业委员会理事等。

Ph.D. in Ophthalmology, Postdoctoral Fellow at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University, Professor and Master’s Supervisor, Visiting Scholar at the University of Oklahoma, USA. Currently serves as Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and President of Hubei University of Science and Technology.

He concurrently holds posts including Chairman of Ophthalmology Branch of Xianning Medical Association, Member of Ophthalmology Branch of Hubei Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of Ophthalmology Branch of Hubei Medical Doctor Association, Member of China Society of Higher Education, and Director of Medical Education Committee of China Society of Higher Education.
